You are absolutely right on that.
Currently I am working on a new header, I have hired a few designers to show me their best headers/logos, and I expect to see a result in about a week.
As for the skin, I am trying to find a decent one for now.
When the site goes big, I will order a custom skin, but for now I have to wait for the ads to work to support the site. Custom skins tend to go for more than $300.

I found a skin but it has some problems.
I will release it if I can fix the bugs.

Hell, for $300 I will build a nice skin and have my friend put images in it. ($200 would be nice, too :P)
