Default Whats so good about the iPod?

Everyone seems to have an iPod however what's so good about them? Why should I get an iPod and not a normal MP3 Player?

I have a normal MP3 player. I got a Coby 4GB one for Christmas last year that I love using. When I was in school, every Friday when we were finished with our work, we got to take out our Ipods, MP3 players, CD players, whatever have you and listen to them. Anyway, I tried a friends ipod and while I liked the sound of it (almost as good as listening to a CD) I found it kind of complicated to use. I'm not very techy either, so that doesn't help. A couple years later I got my first MP3 Player, which compared to the Ipod, was very easy for me to use, and just this last Christmas, like I said, I got a Coby MP3 player that I just love.

I always thought that iPods were the easiest to use mp3 players on the planet. My mother has no idea how to use any electronics at all, but she was easily able to manage the iPod. I think the next best thing about iPods is it's size, it's got a lot of memory, and they are slim as hell. That is what makes them beat the compitition. The only bad thing about all Apple products is their prices, they overprice their hardware. If you are looking for the next generation technology in mp3 players, thats were iPods come in. But any other mp3 player on the market will sound just as good, and will have almost all of the same features for alot less money. My220x, have you every tried out using the iPod before?

In my experience, they are both just as easy to use. The only difference I ever found was the price - the MP3 players being much cheaper.

I thought the the Ipod was so much more convenient. You can create playlists, get artwork for each song, with video and podcasts. I don't know, its just something about the ipod that makes me like it so much better.

I have never even touched an ipod, so I wouldn't know. But any player that fits my pocket and plays music is good enough for me

I would prefer an MP3 player. Not only are they much cheaper, but they're pretty much the same thing.
